Only real problem I have are the windows when it is a heavy frost. If you pull out in front of someone you have enough power to GTFO. Heck if I'm not too rough on it I think the hellcat gets near 20mpg lol. The cars are heavy but smooth rides, they will eat the highway miles and are decent on gas. When I had a RT it was still plenty fun until 100+. Stiff clutch isn't a killer for me as I'm lucky enough to dodge rush hour with my job.Ī scat pack will be a great daily car with enough power from stop light to stop light to make you happy. I also want to know how it feels as a daily, primarily with how huge it is. I haven't really had the opportunity to drive a modern muscle car, so I'm having a difficult time picturing what 500 hp feels like off a modern v8. I just don't wanna buy one and then kick myself that I didn't save up a few more years to pick up a hellcat or something. Is the 392 enough for that purpose or should I be looking at something a bit lighter/more powerful? I grew up around and driving classic muscle cars but decided driving around a steel death trap every day probably isn't the wisest when I'm looking at starting a family. I'm not looking for something I can track and canyon carve in but I'd love a bit of oomph for the occasional stoplight or on ramp pull.

500 hp is a decent number but I know the challenger is quite heavy. I'm looking for a decently fun car that I can use as a daily driver. I'm considering picking up a used (10k-40k mile) 2016 or newer scat pack in the near future but wanted to hear others' thoughts on the car.
